The
club rides every Sunday in and around Accra. We meet at Osu near the Ebenezer
Presbyterian church at 7:30 a.m. Click
here to view
a map.
We also organize a number
of 'away' rides to places such as Akosombo, Wineba, Bortiano and Prampram. Click
here to see our calendar of events.
Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday rides. All rides are guided thus prior
knowledge of the area is not required. Contact us for further
information.
What to Bring and A Few Basic Tips:
- You will need a good mountain bike, robust enough to endure the rigors
of off-road riding.
- You must wear a helmet when riding with the club.
-
Bring a
drink with you (water, squash or an energy drink).
One of us will always
carry equipment for basic repairs (such as repairing a puncture or adjusting
brakes/gears). We also carry a first aid kit. We do recommend that if you
plan to ride regularly, you also carry a means to repair a puncture (patches
or a spare inner tube) as well as basic survival equipment (first aid kit,
money)
.
Many of our ride trails are used by both walkers and vehicles; both
care and courtesy are essential.
